Detroit, MI - July 28, 2025 - McAulay Smith successfully recruited Ryan Thomas to be the Director of Renewable Energy Development for one of the largest investor-owned utilities.
Ryan was recruited from his role as Development Director at one of the largest solar development companies in Europe and third largest in the world outside of China. He has over 15 years of previous utility experience, holding a variety of leadership roles such as Operations Manager.
In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering from the United States Military Academy, Ryan served in the U.S. Army.
